This trip takes you to only 4 national parks of Uganda for unique Safari experiences like the Bwindi impenetrable national park , Mgahinga National Park , Queen Elizabeth for the tree climbing lions , Kibale forest national park for the chimpanzee and Kidepo Valley National Park in northern Uganda.

This trip starts from Kampala to Bwindi  for the gorilla trekking experience guided by experienced local guide of the company in a reliable 4×4 safari land cruisers.

Day 1. Transfer to Bwindi

In the morning after breakfast, depart from Kampala, Uganda’s Capital city to Kisoro which is about 540 km. You drive through Mpigi, Masaka, Lyantonde, Mbarara (lunch stop), Ntungamo and finally arrive in Kisoro in the afternoon. Overnight at Kisoro Travelers Hotel.

Day 2. Gorilla trekking and transfer to kisoro

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and shortly after, the guide leads you through the gorilla’s world, clearing up aspects of their ecosystem and behavior. Gorilla trekking is the most thrilling and extraordinary experience that might take one through a thick tropical forest for a whole day.

Tracking Mgahinga gorillas can take three to eight hours. The trekking activity may be tiresome and therefore needs visitors who can strongly walk for some time. It is wise that you to wear good foothold shoes suitable for mud-covered places and carry binoculars for straightforward visualization. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3. Golden monkey trekking

After breakfast, you will go for Golden monkey trekking in the park (same procedure as Gorilla trekking). The activity lasts 3 to 4 hours and return back to the lodge where you will relax and have lunch. You can later opt for an optional community walk or spend the evening at leisure enjoying the captivating views. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Check in at bush lodge where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 5. Game drive, boat cruise

Begin your day with a delicious cup of coffee/tea before getting on with the game drive on different trails in the park including the along the Kasenyi trail. Along the Kasenyi trail there is a great opportunity of seeing various animals like water bucks, Uganda Kobs, elephants, buffaloes, lions, warthogs as well as various birds. After the drive, go back and have breakfast and also lunch at your lodge.

Later during the afternoon, you will take pleasure in cruising on a 2 hours boat safari along Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward, while on the boat you will see a good number of animals like Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, warthogs, elephants, kobs among others and also a collection of birds like the malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans, on the banks and in trees. Have Dinner and Overnight.

Day 6. Transfer to Kibale forest national park, bigodi walk

After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Kibale forest national park. The drive will take between 3-4 hours.  Check in at Kibale forest camp where you will have dinner and spend the night. In the late afternoon, you will go for the bigodi walk a trail which leads to the bigodi swamp. Along this walk you will expect to spot various primates like monkeys, baboons as well as various bird species.

Day 7. Chimp trekking

Your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing place right after breakfast, he will then hand in your details and permits for registration and allocation of chimpanzee community to trek. You will then be allocated to a chimpanzee community and your ranger guide will lead you on the trek in search of this great ape. Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, feed, play and rest.

Return to the camp refresh and have lunch. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 8. Transfer to Murchison falls national park

After breakfast at the camp, you will check out and transfer to Murchison falls national park a journey that will take between 7-8 hours. You will have a lunch stopover in kagadi. Dinner and overnight stay at Red chilli camp.

Day 9. Game drive and boat cruise.

After a cup of coffee, set out at 6:30 am for a game drive through the park especially the Nyamisika plateau where a lot of early risers will be seen such as Giraffes, leopards, lions, Cape buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, bushbucks, among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and a rest as you get ready for the afternoon boat cruise along the Nile, the Victoria Nile divides the park into the northern and southern banks. On the boat you will spot other animals like Hippos, Crocodiles and different bird like the Pelican, Goliath Heroin, Kingfishers, and the rare shoebill.

The boat will leave you at the bottom of the magnificent falls a few meters from the Devils Cauldron here you will take enough photographs as continue with a hike to the top of these falls, enjoy the thunderous roars of the magnificent falls as they make their way through an 8m gorge and falling at 43m to meet again the Victoria Nile. It’s a great time spent there watching the formed rainbows in the clouds of falling waters. Later meet your guide who will transfer you again to the lodge. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 10. Transfer to Kidepo valley national park

After breakfast at the camp, you will check out and transfer to Kidepo valley national park which is located in the north eastern region of the country. This journey will take between 4-5 hours. Dinner and overnight at Apoka lodge.

Day 11. Game drive and community visit

After an early morning breakfast, the guide will pick you up from the lodge and drive you to Narus valley for a 4 hours game drive in Kidepo. You will spot a variety of animals and bird species including giraffes, zebras, buffalos, elands, lions, hartebeests to mention but a few. Return to lodge for lunch and some relaxation as you prepare for a community visit to the Karimajong.

Drive to the Karimajong homesteads and learn about the way of life and history as you take pictures and experience the local way of living. You may as well support the community buy offering some donations and also buy their locally made handcrafts. Transfer back to lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 12. Transfer to Kapchorwa

After breakfast at the lodge, you will transfer to Kapchorwa. Check in at sipi river lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 13. Sipi falls hike

After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the starting point of the hike. Start the tour with a walk and hike near the waterfalls overlooking the lodge and eventually visit the other 2 waterfalls. The tour takes between 3-4 hours depending on your physical ability as reaching the main waterfalls is steep as you go down and hilly as you climb back. All this journey takes you through the community with the great views of the hilly areas around.

Return to the lodge, refresh and have lunch. Check out and transfer to Jinja. Dinner and overnight at source of the smile.

Day 14. Water rafting

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to rafting starting point. You will have briefing of the activity, and then at around 10am you will start. Before passing through the first raft, the guide will brief you about what to do when passing through the rafts and what do in case the boat over turns. It is a full day activity and will take about 6 hours; you will pass through 5 rafts which range between grade 2-5 waves. You will have a stopover along the way for lunch. After the activity, you will drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 15. Drive back to Kampala

After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe for your flight back home.
