Day 1:Pick up and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed & picked by a professional safari guide from Primate Safari Experiences. He will brief you about the trip and start to drive to Ruhengeri located in the northern province of Rwanda the home for the mountain gorillas. During the drive, you will explore the various hills that make Rwanda being called the land of thousand hills. Check-in Five Volcanoes Lodge/ Mountain gorilla view, Volcanoes Lodges.

Note: if time allows you will start with Kigali City tour to visit the genocide memorial centers

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes Rwanda

After morning breakfast at the lodge, you will transfer to Park headquarters for a briefing on the Dos and Don’ts when your with the Mountain Gorillas in the wilderness of Volcanoes National Park which is part of the Virunga massif that is shared between Uganda, Rwanda & Democratic republic of congo.

After briefing in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed to stay in their presence taking many photos for memories. After gorilla trekking, transfer back to your lodge for lunch and in the evening drive to the twin lakes in the magic Volcanoes. Dinner and overnight as Above.

Day 3: Golden Monkey & Transfer to Kigali

After morning breakfast, you will head back to the park headquarters for briefing about the golden monkey tracking rules and regulations to follow when with the golden monkey and during the walk in the wilderness of Volcanoes. After you will return to the lodge for lunch and later start to drive the 2 hours to connect to Kigali international airport for the flight back home.
