Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Pick Up
On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport you are welcomed and picked by a company Driver Guide to transfer you to enjoy a City Tour around Kampala as you visit the Uganda Museum, Kasubi Tombs, Kabaka’s Palace in Bulange, Uganda Martyr’s Shrine in Namugongo, etc.
After the City Tour break off for lunch and transfer to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Sheraton Hotel Kampala, Cassia Lodge Buziga, Hotel Africana Kampala.
Day 2: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary located along the Gulu Highway to track the white Rhinos in their natural habitat. The journey takes you 4-5 hours depending on the traffic jam, and when you reach the Sanctuary, meet other travelers to be briefed on the Dos and Don’ts around the Rhinos then after transfer in groups to watch these and when you meet them, take many photos to keep for memories.
After Rhino trekking, break off for lunch then later transfer to the stunning Murchison Falls National Park. Transfer for some hours and when you reach the Park enjoy an evening Game Drive then later proceed to check-in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up have breakfast then proceed to the Park to enjoy a Game Drive along the various tracks watching Wildlife animals grazing around like the Elephants, kobs, giraffes, warthogs, buffalo, small antelope, topis, etc. Before leaving for the drive, ensure you transfer with your packed lunch to eat as you experience a Full Day Game Drive that starts in the morning and ends in the evening. After the drive in the evening, transfer to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Murchison Falls River lodge, Paraa Safari Lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to experience a Game Drive along the numerous tracks in the Park then later break off for lunch and afterwards transfer to the banks of the Victoria Nile to enjoy a Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the vibrant falls. The Cruise offers you views of Hippos and Crocodiles beneath the water and other wildlife animals along the banks. After the cruise proceed back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Day 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Kibale Forest national Park a journey that takes 6-7 hours with en-route views at the green vegetation terrain, birds and lunch. After a while of driving reach the Park and transfer to check-in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Primate Lodge Kibale, Chimpanzee View Guesthouse, Ndali lodge.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Chimpanzees then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger penetrate the forest to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours and when you meet them only an hour is allowed to stay in their presence taking numerous photos to keep for memories. After tracking the Chimpanzees, transfer back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Primate Lodge Kibale, Chimpanzee View Guesthouse, Ndali lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park-Nature Walk
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the beautiful Mgahinga National Park a journey that takes you 6-7 hours with en-route views at the green vegetation terrain, birds and mammals. After sometime driving, reach the park and transfer straight to check-in your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Kisoro Tourist Hotel, Mount Gahinga Lodge, Lake Chahafi Resort.
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga National Park
Wake up early in the morning have breakfast and transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger, penetrate the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed to stay in their presence taking many photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla Trekking, return back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Kisoro Tourist Hotel, Mount Gahinga Lodge, Lake Chahafi Resort.
Day 9: Golden Monkey Tracking and Community Walk
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters with your Golden Monkey tracking permit at US $50 per person for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Golden Monkeys in their natural forest habitat. After in groups with a park ranger, transfer to the forest to track the Golden Monkeys for 2-4 hours and when you meet them watch them playing, jumping and communicating within the tree branches. After tracking them, proceed back to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Kisoro Tourist Hotel, Mount Gahinga Lodge, Lake Chahafi Resort.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage embark on a transfer to the stunning Lake Mburo National Park a journey of 5-6 hours. Transfer watching the beautiful green terrain vegetation, birds, and people then later arrive in Mbarara and Igongo Cultural Center for lunch. After lunch, proceed to the Park for an evening Game Drive then after transfer to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mburo Safari Lodge, Mihingo Lodge, Rwakobo Rock lodge.
Day 11: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park for a remarkable Game Drive along the various tracks watching Wildlife animals wander and roam around their natural vegetation habitat. The wildlife animals that can be seen include; Giraffes, zebras, elephants, kobs, small antelope, buffalo, hyenas, warthogs etc. After the Game Drive, break off for lunch then later transfer to Lake Mburo to enjoy an afternoon Boat Cruise which offers you views at the Hippos and crocodiles as well as numerous bird species. Day 12: Departure to Kampala/ Entebbe
Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage, embark on a transfer to Kampala for relaxation, or Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
