Day 1: Fly to Kidepo Valley National Park
After Early morning at your hotel in Entebbe, you will be transferred back and checked in for the domestic flight kidepo Valley National Park . Optional Airstrip for the flight to kidepo will be Kajjansi, Upon arrival at kidepo airstrip you will be transferred to the luxury lodge ( Apoke ) or mid range lodge of Savannah Hotel for lunch and in the evening hours you will go for the evening game drive in the Narus Valley to search for wildlife animals such as buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras and if you are lucky, you can see lions, leopard and the elusive cheetah. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Apoka Safari Lodge/ Savannah Lodge
Day 2: Full day Game drives in Kidepo
After an early morning breakfast, you will set out for a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. Here you will be able to see a variety of animals and birds roaming around including the fast running Ostrich which can only be found in Kidepo National Park in Uganda.
You will later return to the Lodge for lunch after which, you will go for the afternoon exciting game drive across the Savannah, hills, small forests, dry river beds and rings of mountains around you. Look out for animals and different bird species.
In the evening you will go for the Cultural tour in the Karamajong community and this will enable you spend some time with Karamajong people where you will get to know more about their culture and ways of life and beliefs. From here you will understand, by the end of the tour, why their pride makes them slow to adapt to the dynamic world and their love for cattle is comparable to the better known Masai of Kenya and Tanzania. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Apoka Safari Lodge
Day 3: Guided Nature Walk and fly back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will set out for the guided nature walk around the Park which will enable you to appreciate the beauty of Kidepo National park on foot. You will be able to see and take photos of the various birds and the less dangerous animals at a close range.
You will then retire for Lunch at Apoka Lodge before boarding your chartered aircraft to return to Kajjansi in the afternoon.
