Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, meet our driver guide to transfer you to the stunning Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary located a few kilometers from Murchison Falls National Park along the Gulu Highway. The journey takes 4-6 hours and when you reach there, transfer to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Amuka Safari Lodge, Masindi Hotel.
Day 2: Rhino Tracking and Canoeing
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and don’ts around the Rhinos then later in groups with a park ranger, transfer into the bush to track the Rhinos for 2 hours and when you meet them, take as many photos of these rare stunning creatures to keep for memories.
After your adventure, break off for lunch and then later, transfer to the Lugogo Wetland Swamp located 10 kilometers where you view numerous bird species like the White Crested Turaco, the Giant Kingfisher, Palmnut Vulture, Barbets, and most of the woodpecker species, including the Speckled-breasted Woodpecker. After transfer back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Amuka Safari Lodge, Masindi Hotel.
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up have breakfast then embark on your transfer to Murchison Falls National Parka journey that takes you a few hours and when you reach the Park, break off for lunch then proceed on an afternoon Game Drive along the various trails watching many wildlife animals like elephants, warthogs, giraffes, small antelope, kobs, etc enjoying their habitat.
After the drive, transfer to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Murchison River lodge, Paraa Safari Lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to with your packed lunch to experience a Full day Game Drive along the various tracks. This gives you views at the numerous wildlife animals for the whole you can also visit the Hippo Pool where you will see numerous Hippos with egrets on their heads. After the Game Drive in the evening, transfer back to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Murchison River lodge, Paraa Safari Lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park to experience another Game Drive along the various tracks in the Park watching wildlife in their habitat. After, break off for lunch then later transfer to the Victoria Nile to experience a remarkable Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the falls and this offers you views of many bird species, wildlife animals, hippos and crocodiles beneath the water.
After the cruise, transfer back to the banks then later to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Murchison River lodge, Paraa Safari Lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Wake up early have breakfast then with your luggage, transfer to the stunning Kibale Forest National Park a journey that takes 5-7 hours with lunch en-route. After a while of driving, reach the Park and transfer to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Primate Lodge Kibale, Chimpanzee View Guesthouse, Ndali Lodge.
Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking and Nature Walk
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Chimpanzees. After briefing, transfer in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger to track the amazing Chimpanzees in their natural forest habitat for 2-4 hours and when you meet them; spend an hour in their presence taking numerous photos to keep for memories.
After the experience, break off for lunch then proceed to experience a guided nature walk through the forest watching monkeys, birds and other mammals. Later, return to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Primate Lodge Kibale, Chimpanzee View Guesthouse, Ndali Lodge.
Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park a journey that will take you 4-6 hours with en-route lunch at the Igongo Cultural Center. After lunch, proceed to the Park to enjoy an afternoon-evening game Drive then later transfer to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Mihingo Lodge, Rwakobo Rock lodge, Mburo Safari Lodge.
Day 9: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park to enjoy a Game Drive around the various tracks in the Park watching wildlife animals like buffalo, zebras, giraffes, kobs, small antelope, etc grazing. After the drive, break off for lunch then later transfer to Lake Mburo for an afternoon Boat Cruise which offers you views of the Hippos and crocodiles as well as birds. After, return back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Mihingo Lodge, Rwakobo Rock lodge, Mburo Safari Lodge.
Day 10: Departure to Kampala/ Entebbe
Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage, transfer to Kampala/ Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
